Shipping is moving slower than it would be in normal circumstances. Delivery time may be delayed by up to 15 business days. Please be patient as the shipping company is working as quickly as possible and have in mind that are still closed borders and essencial goods have delivery priority.
The rules for what’s acceptable and who’s essential vary country-to-country, state-to-state, and even at times city-to-city, creating new levels of instability in supply chains.

All our shipments have insurance, so, we’re covered if anything happens to your surfboard.


MATTA insures each purchase during time in transit until it is delivered to you. Orders may require signature upon delivery, at which point responsibility for the shipment passes to you. If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes, you also accept that signature by the third party is sufficient proof of delivery and fulfillment by MATTA Surfboards.

NOTE: Please confirm the package for every ding or damage’s, even if you just suspect that the boards can be damaged inside, don’t sign the release paper from the carrier and don’t give your name to them (digital signature). We are not responsible for any damage on the board after the client signs the paper or give his name as he has received the package.

If you don’t have time to check the boards before signing the release paper, please make a note in the release paper “Damaged BOX” or if it’s digital the carrier needs to write that the box is damaged.

Any anomaly or theft not described on the release paper can not be claimed, thus being the responsibility of the customer.

The shipping company rarely asks if there’s something wrong with the box, but please make a reserve on the drivers release paper with the specification of the issue, for ex. “bent box on the left corner” or “volume ripped of on the front”.
